Forming An Opportunity Belief

I have a feeling that there are great ways of starting the day off well. I, myself, am not a morning person and struggle to get out of bed. Starting my day is quite possibly the hardest challenge to do in a timely manner. It usually takes around an hour to get myself in the state of mind to do or accomplish any tasks that are required for that day.
A possible cause for morning problems is the lack of healthy kick starting. Energy drinks and coffee aren't healthy ways of getting that energy boost or kick in the behind needed to start the day. Cold showers are the beneficial and unorthodox way of waking an individual up. There are also other benefits to cold showers such as improved immune system and blood circulation. Although, the transition from warm to cold showers is brutal. I believe an invention of a shower that can warm up quickly and allow for the person to ease into their preferred temperature, then slowly progress into a colder temperature can help wake someone up effectively and efficiently.

First Interviewee: 20yr old male UF student who has trouble waking up in the morning due to bad sleep habits.

Q: Have you ever consider the idea of waking up early to start your day off?

A: I don't think I ever have consider that as an option while in college because of the time constraint and workload. Although, I do often see myself in a situation where I want to change something and maybe, waking up early in the solution.

Q: How long have you had this problem/dilemma?

A: I think I have had this problem since high school because of its early hours. Now, in college, I can in sleep as much as I wanted and do what I want because I can created my own schedule.

Q: How often do you think that you should change your habits?

A: I think about it every morning, while the alarms are going off! I really don't like to wake up suddenly.

Q: What methods have you used to wake yourself early or at a given time?

A: When I have to wake up early, I usually just set 5 consecutive alarms ranging 5-10 mins. from each other. I don't wake up until the last one almost all the time.

Q: How satisfied are you with your own solution?

A: I'm not happy whatsoever with the sound of the generic Apple alarm system going off. It's definitely in my top 5 worst sounds in the world to hear.

Second Interviewee: 26yr old female UF graduate student who stays up late to finish her homework and wakes up early for classes

Q:  Have you ever consider the idea of waking up early to start your day off?

A: I have to considering my classes are in the morning, but I do like to wake up early to start my day off rather than later because I have more time to do things.

Q: How long have you had this problem/dilemma?

A: Since grad school, I think I have troubles waking up early because I have to stay up late to finish homework that I procrastinate on in the morning.

Q: How often do you consider changing your habits?

A: I think about changing my habits every time exam time comes around because that's when I get the busiest. I usually have no time at all to take care of myself. So, I wish there was some sort of solution to help me better start my day.

Q: What methods have you used to wake yourself early or at a given time?

A: I use a really loud alarm set and also take a long hot shower to get my body going.

Q: How satisfied are you with your solution?

A: I feel like my solution works for some situations, although I feel like there are better solution out there that I could see much improvement in.

Third Interviewee: 18yr old male UF student who wants to workout more but doesn't have the time due other commitments such as school, clubs, fraternity, etc.

Q:  Have you ever consider the idea of waking up early to start your day off?

A: I have considered waking up early in order to start going to the gym again because I don't have any other time to sacrifice.

Q: How long have you had this problem/dilemma?

A: I have had this problem since I started college. I feel like I have to do so much to get the job I want in the future. I don't want to sacrifice anything that will taken away from that goal if it's not necessary.

Q: How often do you consider changing your habits?

A:  I've considered changing my habits since I've noticed muscle loss a month ago. I haven't been able to look myself in the mirror with the same confidence in my body.

Q: What methods have you used to wake yourself early or at a given time?

A: I set alarms and try to drink a lot of coffee in the morning to give me that energy for an hour long workout session.

Q: How satisfied are you with your solution?

A: I quit doing that since my body would keep shaking throughout the day because of the caffeine. Also, the caffeine crash after does not help when trying to do activities later in the day.

Reflection: I believe that managing time for college students is a difficult task. They don't know how to manage their sleep schedule, which can be seen in their lack of sleep and dependence on alarm systems to help wake them up. Regardless of their time management, they have a terrible system of waking up and kick starting their day. The loud, anxious noise from an alarm system can rude the mood of an individual trying to wake up.

Summation: Due to terrible time management and depression for solutions, these UF students are looking for any possible way to solve their problems waking up. I believe I need to change my opportunity a bit by creating a better scenario for people to want wake up. I believe my original idea does effectively help people wake up early throughout the sudden change or shock of hopping into a cold shower, but getting those people to want to stick with the change is the difficult. I believe adding a Blue-tooth speaker where soothing music plays and helps people ease their minds from the cold water would help them enjoy the experience more. This change will more accurately help the people in need by creating a problem to an enjoyable experience.
I believe entrepreneurs should adapt their opportunities because it's the customer who are the ones purchasing the product/service. If they don't want to buy the product/service because of stubbornness of producer , lack of quality, etc. then they simply wouldn't buy.
