Halfway Reflection
The behaviors I have used and developed to keep up with the requirements of this course are the ability to conversing openly and thick skin.
I remember during the first interview required assignment that I was nervous to go and ask people to answer my questions. I’m an introvert and don’t like conflict nor creating conversations that make me uncomfortable. I felt like giving up and taking a zero on the assignment. Although, I noticed that there were multiple assignments that required interviews. So, through the urgent need to accomplish these assignments, I went and did the tasks. At first, I got many no’s which hurt, but once I got people well to answer my questions, it was amazing to see how well I could interview and command a conversation. So, I attribute my public speaking abilities to all those interview assignments.
3 Tips to Next Semester’s Students:
· To be an entrepreneur, at some point, you will become unconformable with a situation that you must complete. So, I’d say accept the challenge.
· Remember being an entrepreneur means developing the mindset of one. Go find opportunities you feel that you can make a change out of.
· Don’t quit just because it’s hard. Continue because of the hardness.
