Idea Napkin No.1
1) About Me:
I'm a sophomore at University of Florida who is currently studying for my degree of Finance. I have Microsoft Office certifications and work experience as a stock clerk at Peltz Shoes. I aspire to become successful in whatever endeavor I choose to do whether that be a finance analyst or an entrepreneur.
2)What do I offer to customers:
I'm offering a brilliant opportunity for people to build their credit score. They will learn helpful tips and life skills on the many ways of credit building. This learning will be done through an app where there will be different sections explaining the basics of credit, building credit, and maintain a high credit score at the disposition of their fingertips.
3) Who am I offering it to:
Im offering this service to people who lack credit knowledge and need help starting out.
The launch target population is UF students excluding online. These people are perfect because of their age range and current lack of knowledge of credit in general.
4) The reason they should care:
UF students are the target because most students don't know what credit is and how it works. They are also becoming legal adults and have gain lots of responsibility since moving out of their parent's house. Also, the university has one of the largest student bodies, which will provide a hugely dense demographic market of a small region.
5) My Core Competencies:
I have relatability to UF students because I'm also a current UF student. This bond is unique because they know what they need and how to properly pass on the information need without any noise/confusion in the message. In addition, I have the sources and people to create this app and apply the knowledge into the application.
I believe these elements fit together well because I have an opportunity to help other UF students with a problem many people have at a more personal level. I don't believe most students would understand credit without a simple, dumbed-down version of an explanation. I feel like an app helps student with the convenience of it being on their phones. Most students have very busy schedules and can get the need information at any given minute.
