Napkin Idea No.2

1) About Me:
I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Florida to earn my degree in Finance. I have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) certifications and work experience as a stock clerk at Peltz Shoes and Sales/Marketing Intern at Mo8. I aspire to become a successful fiduciary advisor at a wealth/investment management firm.

2)What do I offer to customers:
I'm offering to customers a brilliant opportunity to learn how to build their credit score. My customers will learn helpful tips and life skills in the many different ways and methods of credit building. This learning will be done through an app where there will be different sections explaining the basics of credit, building credit, and maintain a high credit score at the disposition of their fingertips. Downloading the app onto their phones, they can access the material and information through sectioned folders to break the information into manageable and related proportions.

3) Who am I offering it to:
I'm offering this service to individuals who lack credit knowledge and need help starting out because there isn't a well-known service provider for this opportunity. The launch target population is UF students excluding online. These people are perfect because of their age range and the current lack of knowledge of credit in general. The target market is very similar due to the similar experiences the population will be going through which is university life.

4) Why do they care:
UF students are the target because most students don't know what credit is and how it works. They are also becoming legal adults and have gained lots of responsibility since moving out of their parent's house. Students will understand sooner or later that they need to learn basic life knowledge and skills such as credit building. So downloading a free app to learn about a skill that will save you thousands of dollars in the future would be very beneficial for their future financial stability.

5) My Core Competencies:
I have relatability to UF students because I'm also a current UF student. This bond is unique because they know what they need and how to properly pass on the information need without any noise/confusion in the message. In addition, I have the sources and people to create this app and apply the knowledge into the application.

My product's elements cohere so well because I have an opportunity to help other UF students with a problem many people suffer them at a more personal level. I don't believe most UF students would understand credit without a simple, dumbed-down version of an explanation because credit can be a complex and difficult subject matter to explain. I feel like an app helps students with the convenience of it being on their phones. Most students have very busy schedules and can get the need information at any given minute.

Feedback Memo:
After reviewing my feedback and discussing with others who I have shared my last napkin idea to as well, I had come to the conclusion that I need to change a few sentences in the Why do they care section to better explain the reason why the product is important to UF student rather than to the general public. I did completely change my About Me section because I needed to update it since the last time I gave my napkin idea. Although, for the most part, I did take my last napkin idea and upgraded the text the further emphasize the importance to the target market rather than throw the whole idea away and start from scratch.
